Booties!

I was asked to make a pair of booties. Aren`t they so cute. Made the acetate box to put them in :). Pattern from Martha Ospina`s Parchment Craft book.

I passed...........

the exam and so I am now officially a

Pergmano Tutor!

Here are a few of my earlier pieces. The one at the top right was done in a class with Alison Yeates. The other 3 are ones that I played around with and I really love the black ink one.

Maid for hubby

Well this is the closest hubbys is going to get to one!! lol

Made it for his birthday a couple of years ago. The image is from the net and printed onto parchment. Used the oval PCA grid (haven`t used it since!) Used peeloffs and a lovely white feather for the duster!

Wine Glass Shade

This is a shade that I made using a free pattern online (when I locate it, I will post it here).

So easy to make. Dorsed a sheet of parchment. Used decorative scissors around the top and bottom and finished off with organza ribbon to match.

Birthday swap

`Sky Lark`

Just wanted to show you the project I did when I attended a parchment craft weekend last year. It is made up using 3 A4 pieces of parchment which consists of - a back piece which you can just make out with a lighthouse on it to the right hand side of the ship. The main piece which the ship is painted on and the top piece which the scrolls are made from. The sails and seagull are 3D.

The pattern is copyright to Alison Yeates, Wendy Stone and Kim Thomas. I believe the pattern will be published soon!

What a fun time we had............can`t ever remember a time when all I did was parch, sleep and eat for almost 3 days! lolololol

Matching set

I made a matching set for Tony`s Aunt who will be 70.

The blue doesn`t show up very well, but it certainly is a gorgeous colour!

I really like this kind of bag as it makes up so quickly.

This is the first time that I have made an acetate card and I`m happy with how it has turned out :)

Something different

Such a brilliant song....really makes me laugh. My two eldest boys are 16 & 13 and like typical teenagers think that life evolves around the Xbox 360. A Doodle!

I actually had the chance to play with my Cuttlebug last night.........yay

Then I actually managed to put these two cards together quickly.

I only have a few stamps so I drew these flowers.

Wish I could be more artistic, as sometimes, the doodles are great :)

Wedding Card

I want to show this card I made for a wedding we attended in Germany a few months ago.

It is done on parchment and backed with rainbow card.

The pearls are `dip dots` done using Tinta Pearla White.

Finished off with lilac organza ribbon

Just......

a couple of things done really quickly.

The bag was done after seeing the video on Dawns site. Such a geat site for tutorials.

The card was done very quickly as I needed an excuse to play with the Cuttlebug!

Sticker book!

My kids love sticking their stickers all over everything! Then you know what it`s like when it comes to `peeling` them off.........grrrrr

So I thought I would make Callum (4) and Kyle (9) a book to stick their stickers in :)

Unfortunately, Kyle had left his in his school trousers and I was in too much of a hurry to check the pockets like I usually do!

So Kyle pleaded with me to make him another one!

I have left the front for him to decorate :):)

Parchment Butterfly Card

This is one of my all time fav cards...

Pattern is from Parchment Craft Magazine September 2007.

The butterflies are mounted on purple mirri card and glued onto the patterned parchment.

Morning all

It`s lovely and sunny here down in Bournemouth. Not alot planned for today just the school runs as usual. So it`s one of those days where you tend to not get alot done as you find yourself always `clock watching`.
My eldest son was 16 on friday and today he gets to go to college for the day and meet his tutor and the other students who are starting in September. I really can`t believe just how quickly these last 2 years have gone, from choosing his options, to actually leaving school!!
I have a request..........and that is for you to tell me what your favourite crafting shop is. Where do you go to get a bargain? Please leave a message in the comments as I would love to have a look if it`s an online shop.

Spend, spend, spend!

I had/have an urge to spend, so today I went to The Range. I didn`t know what I wanted to buy. I just wanted to spend. This is quite frightening as I very rarely get like this.

I picked up a few stamps and one that really caught my eye was a set of clear stamps by Studio g. I paid 99p and got a set which consists of three sentiments and one swirly pattern.

The top stamp is from Dovecraft Fantasy - Emblems

I wasn`t really sure what I was going to do........I just went with `it` (whatever that is!)

Yep, this is the very first time I had ever used a stamp!
